Last year we hosted 500 screenings of 300 films at eight theatres. Our attendance figures for the past five years are between 130,000 and 145,000 patrons. Our Trade Forum increased its attendance and sponsorship, and was rated as the best ever by our sponsors, panelists and delegates. As the Vancouver International Film Festival celebrates its 21st Anniversary Year, plans are shaping up for the most visible and glamorous event in our history. Cost of sponsorship varies accordingly and involves a combination of cash and contra.

Guidelines for submitting logos

These guidelines are to enable us to reproduce your logo at the highest quality both in print and on the web.

All of our material is produced on the Mac operating system. While we can open most files from the various Windows systems, we cannot use fonts that are not specifically Mac fonts.

The best way to send your logo is as a vector file, i.e., Illustrator or Freehand, with all text turned to outlines. This is especially important if the files are not from a Mac.

Second Best is a tiff file. These cause no platform compatibility problems but they cannot be enlarged too much without pixallating.

Failing the availability of the above choices, send us the largest (Max: letter size) printed version of your logo that you have.
